چکیده
Abstract Background To investigate the relationship between levels of serum adipokine retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4) and essential hypertension as well to explore role mechanism RBP4-induced activation renin–angiotensin system (RAS) in adipocyte. Methods From December 2016 March 2019, 96 hypertensive patients without treatment 64 healthy nonhypertensive subjects were recruited. The difference RBP4 2 groups was compared, analyzed by multivariate logistic regression. In mouse primary white adipocytes, effect on RAS adipocyte determined experiment adenovirus transfected overexpression. Protein expression Toll-like receptor (TLR4) key components western blotting. level angiotensin II (Ang II) cell supernatant measured enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. We also observed TLR4 inhibitor TAK242 induced Results Serum significantly higher with than [30.14 (23.76–40.65) vs. 25.05 (20.05–31.04) µg/ml, P < 0.01]. Multivariate regression analysis showed that independently associated [OR 1.10 (95% CI 1.06–1.14), = 0.002]. RBP4-transfected angiotensin-converting enzyme, angiotensinogen, renin/angiotensin-forming enzyme 1, Ang (P 0.05) increased. Whereas, markedly reduced when treated 0.05). Conclusions is hypertension. TLR4-mediated might be mechanisms underlying effects blood pressure.

Endoplasmic reticulum stress regulates inflammation in adipocyte of obese rats via toll-like receptors 4 signaling
Objective(s): To explore whether endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress regulates inflammation in adipose tissue of obese rats via TLR4 signaling. Materials and Methods: Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into four groups, and body weight, food intake, and free fatty acids (FFA) were measured. Real-time PCR and Western blot were used to determine mRNA or protein expression of TLR4, TRAF6, IKK...

Introduction : The innate immune system as the first line of defense against the pathogens recognizes pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) by Toll-Like Receptors (TLRs). Interaction of bacterial PAMPs by TLRs results in activation of innate and acquired immunity. FimH adhesin, a minor component of type 1 fimbriae encoded by Uropathogenic Escherichia coli (UPEC) is a PAMP of TLR4 tha...
متن کاملSerum retinol-binding protein-induced endothelial inflammation is mediated through the activation of toll-like receptor 4
PURPOSE Elevation of serum retinol-binding protein 4 (RBP4) induces inflammation in primary human retinal microvascular endothelial cells (HRECs) via a retinol-independent mechanism; thus, it may play a causative role in the development and progression of vascular lesions in diabetic retinopathy (DR). Since HRECs do not express the classical RBP4 receptor, stimulated by retinoic acid gene 6 (ST...

متن کاملHyaluronan inhibits osteoclast differentiation via Toll-like receptor 4.
The differentiation of osteoclasts, cells specialized for bone resorption, is governed by two key factors, macrophage colony stimulating factor (M-CSF) and receptor activator of nuclear factor kappaB ligand (RANKL). The extracellular matrix (ECM) is an important factor influencing cell fate. To date, little investigation on the relationship between ECM components and osteoclast differentiation ...
